This is a sample of a digital critical edition of the Brothers Grimm’s Kinder- und Hausmärchen. It contains the same paragraph from Rapunzel from each of the seven editions of Kinder- und Hausmärchen with the changes made between the current edition and the last highlighted in blue and accidental textual variants corrected and highlighted in green. I also provide a direct translation of the text to English for each version of the paragraph and links to the original page images from the Deutsches Text Archiv. This was one of my first experiences examining how digitizing material can provide one new opportunities for analysis.
